Russ And Chris

Things have been going wonderfully and Aaron now takes almost all of his naps in his crib (when we're home that is).. In order for this to happen I still had to control his arm movements... I didn't want to "swaddle" so often during the day, I wanted to save that for night sleep... So what I ended up doing was taking a sleepsack and not sticking his arms in the sleeves.. I started with a fleece with long sleeves, and I just tucked the sleeves underneath him.. but even with the air conditioners it was getting too warm... So I ended up taking this terry cloth, sleeveless sleepsack and just sewed up the arm holes.. It works great.. he can still move his arms, but not touch his face, which I'm hoping is good for practice for eventually not needing a "swaddle" at all..
I must add that he is all smiles when he first wakes up.. however I took this picture with the flash and he got very upset after.. I think it was a little too soon after waking for that kind of stimulation... hehe.. oh well, he bounced back fine after some cuddling..
