So I finally have some new pictures to post of our adventures.. Always takes me a while to get up the get and go to put them into webshots and post them though..
This past March Russ and I went on a cruise with a group of friends to the Western Carribean. This was our second cruise on Carnival Cruise line and we love it. Somehow we always seem to become famous on these cruises.. The first time it was because Russ proposed on stage in front of the whole boat and this time he was entered into a Karoake show and won first prize to earn him the title of "The Legend".
Our cruise took us to the island of Grand Cayman where we enjoyed scuba diving. Then it was off to Costa Maya where we took a taxi to the nearby ruins. Cozumel was next and we decided to rest at the Chankanaab National Park for the day.. Beautiful place with iguanas roaming freely and it was only $10 to get in and they had places to eat and rent snorkel gear. Our last stop was Belize where we did a shore excursion of jungle zip lining.. It was an absolute blast and the only scary part was rappelling 80 ft to the ground.
The only bad part about the trip was that we hit some rough seas for two nights in a row.. And me with my motion sickness it wasn't pleasent. Thankfully the first night we had decided to do a pub crawl anyways.. so it just felt like being really intoxicated when we fell into the walls in the hallways from the rolling ship :-)
The second night was the Karoake show so I was trying to be all brave for Russ so the it took my mind off of the bucking of the ship, but I will admit I didn't eat any dinner that night because of the quesiness..
Even with that experience I still love the cruises and will defintely continue to go on them. Enjoy the pics.
