Russ And Chris

Today was our second visit to the Pediatrician.. Russ was unable to go with me so I felt a little stressed about it.. Other than a problem with the silly Arlington parking ticket machine it went well... Aaron wasn't screaming his lungs out this time, which was less stress for both of us.. He weighed in today at 7lbs. 15oz. Good to know my milk is working and he's gaining weight.. This is a 9oz. increase from 5 days ago.. The doctor said they look for a baby to be back to its birthweight at 14 days of age.. Usually infants gain 1oz. a day.. Our little guy seems to be more towards the 2oz. a day... He's gonna be as big as Andy Kovacs soon enough :-)
Aarons been doing well.. Russ refuses to sleep during the day so that he can play computer games instead.. I usually try to take two naps in.. One in the moring and one mid afternoon... Aaron's been pretty good with his feeding schedule.. He eats about every 2.5 hours during the day and then at night depending on if he's got his pacifier or not its anywhere from the 2.5 hours to 4 hours apart.. So sleep hasn't been too bad.. It'll be interesting when Russ has to go back to work.. Hopefully it'll be okay. We'll soon see.
