Russ And Chris

Aaron's almost a month old now and I finally got the perfect pictures for his birth announcement. I know, by now everyone already knows of his arrival, but it's still cute to have the pictures to prove it :-)

I wanted to make sure I got another post in since my last one was about bad stuff. To let everyone know those were the only two nights where Aaron was screaming for hours... I've been reading Happiest Baby on the Blockand its helped out a huge amount with learning the 5 S's... Swaddling, Shushing, Side/Stomach, Swinging, & Sucking.
At least it makes me feel like I have some control and not just randomly bouncing a screaming child..

I've actually started using a sling around the house to help me get things done and its great.. Aaron loves it and it leaves me two hands to get stuff done.. like writing this blog.. you wouldn't believe how long it takes to type something when you only have one hand free..

We went to the pediatrician yesterday and we now weigh in at a whopping 8lb. 13oz... Next months appointment will be scary cause thats when he gets his first immunizations... I told Russ he has to come with me... I'm expecting lots of crying and fussiness..

Russ' birthday is coming up on the 30th... This will be the first long jaunt out of the house in public for Aaron and I... We've been doing short little walks and maybe a trip to the grocery store, but nothing htat involves feeding in public... I'll be adventurous and hopefully John Harvard's will put up with a possibly screaming child :-)
