Black Friday the zoos were open to the public for free. I haven't been to the Franklin Park Zoo since I was a kid so I convinced Russ to bundle up and we all went out for the afternoon. It was chilly, but we bundled well and stayed fairly warm. I used the bunting for Aaron for the first time.. He only had on a long sleeve shirt and coveralls underneath and he was nice and warm by the time we got back to the car.
I think we enjoyed the zoo more than he did, but he did glance at the animals. It was fun making the noises to associate the animals to what he sees in his books all the time.

The photos a little blurry, but I had to post a pic with his little sweater vest. We had a great Thanksgiving. I was so happy that everyone was able to make it. Thanks to mom as always for hosting Thanksgiving.
The holidays are a little bit harder with the boy now. He gets so excited being with everyone that he doesn't want to leave and nap. We finally gave up Thanksgiving day. He went 5 hours without a nap and was exhausted. Poor little guy, but he was a trooper. Course getting together with friends and family has completely thrown off our schedule, I can't wait to be back on schedule.. I'm a control freak, I can't handle this not knowing :-)
Aaron decided to wake up at 5:45 this morning.. Russ is absolutely amazing and got up with him and let me sleep 2 more hours. I'm very lucky to have such a wonderful husband.

You have new Picture Mail!

Russ and I took Aaron out for lunch on Thursday and he had his first tastes of Indian. We want to try to expose him to different flavors before the magical cut off of one year, according to books. We asked the waiter what they recommended and they came up with Chicken Tikka Masala. We ordered some Garlic Naan and broke off small pieces, dipped it in the sauce, and let him go at it. He loved it! Even liked some small chicken pieces. Such an adventurous little guy.
