I found this video on our friends Ryan and Jodi's Flikr account.. Never even knew they took it as a video. This was when we went to go visit over the summer.. Aaron loved this. They tried to pawn it off on us, but there was no way we had room for it :-)

What a bunch of cuties.. We had a Pre-Halloween playdate today. Have to find an excuse to use those costumes more than once :-)
Luckily we've had plenty of excuses this year. last Friday Medford had their business Trick-or-Treat. Aaron caught on real fast.. by the third business he was holding up his bag to the people to put candy in. He had his first lollipop and loved it. I think of it as a trial run for Friday.

First trip for apple picking... The oddest day of the week, where we all showed up in long sleeves and it reached 86 degrees. Oy!
But the kids had fun. And Aaron ate his share of apples off the trees.. After I peeled them of course.. Don't need another apple peel choking incident.

Vacation 2009

Our first day of our vacation. We drove till we hit Clearfield, PA. We started Friday morning at 9am and stopped at 6pm. We've ended up staying at a Hampton Inn right off the highway. If you can believe it we ended up getting two adjoining rooms in order to let us sleep better. It allowed us to watch Casino Royal without worrying about waking the baby. Course, for some reason I'm still up at 6am. Guess I'm just excited about the rest of the trip. Oddly enough the wireless connection is much better now than it was at 10pm.
Aaron was so wonderful in the car yesterday.. didn't even need to breakout the DVD player. Stopped around 11am for a quick stretch. He slept from 11:30 to 12:30. Stopped for lunch at Try-R-Deli at 1pm. Then another quick break around 4pm to switch and let Russ drive. Google says its only 4hr 45 min to Columbus. Should be an easy day. It's raining this morning, but hopefully won't slow us down to much.

Just got freaked out. The hotel slid a paper under the door.. I can't see anything cause its still early, but I could hear it..

Aaron's first pony ride.. I'm so proud. I was afraid he'd hate it since he's a little afraid of the horses head coming too close to him, but he was a trooper. Waited in line patiently for over 5min (very impressive) then I just plopped him on and away we went.. He held on to the pommel and smiled brightly as he bounced along.. Too bad Daddy wasn't here to see it ( I had to get someone to hold him as I took the picture) West Medford Labor Day Festival was a huge success. Thank you to all the volunteers!

Ahh. to be a kid again.. Nothing like having mom bury you in the sand.. And to make him stay put he gets his snack cup :-) It's been a crazy, busy week, even with Russ out of town.. Mom, Aaron, and I went to York, ME on Wednesday to visit friends. They had this great beach nearby for permit only residents.. Aaron spent a good portion just running up and down chasing the seagulls.. Oh, and let me tell you, that water is COLD.

I can never believe how long I let get in between posts.. I'll try to do a couple to make up for it.. I loved this picture.. He really loves his fruit right now.. Somedays its all he'd eat. His biggest thing is walking around the house with apples.. He just takes small chunks out of it, occasionally coming over to spit some skin in to my hand.. yumm..

I can't believe it, he did so well. I thought it would be fun to get together with Pepere and watch him get his haircut. I never imagined Aaron would let us do it to him. He wiggled so much for the few minutes it took at home to clean up the back of his neck. The barber had a special chair to lift him high and was so fast. Aaron didn't like the razor buzzing near his neck, but we got the rest. I can't believe what a difference it makes. He's so cute.
